【情報提供】2023/11/5ペシャワール会大阪の講演会のご紹介
講演会のご案内をシェアします。 ペシャワール会は、設立者である中村医師が2019年に亡くなった後も、コロナも乗り越え、現在も精力的に活動している国際NGOです。その後、会員数はむしろ増えているという。一般に民間団体は、自由度が高いがゆえに継続性をもたせにくいと考えられています。それにもかかわらず、設立者の確固たる思想を基盤に、自律的な運営により活動が継続されているペシャワール会は、組織運営の側面からも大変興味深い民間団体です。 出会いは偶然。弓削島の友人のお姉さんが、長く会の事務局をされておられた、というご縁でペシャワール会がとたんに身近になりました。この講演会を、ぜひ多くの方に知っていただきたいと思いました。 今回の講演会は、ペシャワール会で活動中または活動経験のある5名が登壇予定。パンフレットpdfはこちら。ペシャワール会は、中村哲医師のパキスタンでの医療活動を支援する目的で40年前に設立された国際NGOで、現在は、中村医師が設立したPMS(平和医療団・日本）のアフガニスタンでの医療活動や灌漑水利事業等を支援している団体です。 登壇予定者のうち3名は、2005年～2008年ごろ、ペシャワール会が支援するPMSのワーカーとしてにアフガニスタンで用水路建設や経理事務などに従事されていました。帰国後はそれぞれ、絵本やさんを開業されたり学習会の講師活動をされたり、全く異なるお仕事に従事しつつ、震災後に福島の子供たちを関西にまねく団体を設立したり、子育て施設や児童の発達支援などの社会的な活動にも取り組まれています。講演会は、アフガニスタンにおける今の活動が聞けるほか、こうしたペシャワール会卒業生より日本での多彩な活躍を直接伺える構成にもなっており、楽しみです。弓削からは遠いですが、関西圏の方はぜひ。 We share the information about the lecture. Summer wood craft: We were cleaning up Mots Land in Sashima, and found some stored woods for deck were partially rotted. I threw away the rotten parts, followed the instruction manual and made an armchair. Mots san's daughter who lives in US visited us. モッツランドでオリーブの手入れ Olive maintenance in Mots Land
桜、白梅、紅梅。春の佐島の山道を走るのは楽しくて、すぐにモツランドに着きました。丘の上にある入り口からは海が見渡せます。果樹園エリアには20本以上のオリーブの木があります。2ヶ月に3回、敵が穴を開けて木を枯らすのを防ぐために、茎に薬剤を塗る必要があります。一本一本剪定をしながら作業を進めました。どの木にも穴が開いていなかったので、安心しました。 果樹園の山手には、Motsさんが今年植えた桃が満開、ふもとの方にあるプラムも花盛りでした。太陽光エネルギーを使って電動草刈機で 、海辺の平地の草を刈ったり、小さな家の緩んだ雨樋を修理したりしました。 今年もプラムやオリーブ、イチジクなどの果実がたくさん収穫できたらと思います。 Cherry blossom, white plum, and red plum.
