【情報提供】2023/11/5ペシャワール会大阪の講演会のご紹介
講演会のご案内をシェアします。 ペシャワール会は、設立者である中村医師が2019年に亡くなった後も、コロナも乗り越え、現在も精力的に活動している国際NGOです。その後、会員数はむしろ増えているという。一般に民間団体は、自由度が高いがゆえに継続性をもたせにくいと考えられています。それにもかかわらず、設立者の確固たる思想を基盤に、自律的な運営により活動が継続されているペシャワール会は、組織運営の側面からも大変興味深い民間団体です。 出会いは偶然。弓削島の友人のお姉さんが、長く会の事務局をされておられた、というご縁でペシャワール会がとたんに身近になりました。この講演会を、ぜひ多くの方に知っていただきたいと思いました。 今回の講演会は、ペシャワール会で活動中または活動経験のある5名が登壇予定。パンフレットpdfはこちら。ペシャワール会は、中村哲医師のパキスタンでの医療活動を支援する目的で40年前に設立された国際NGOで、現在は、中村医師が設立したPMS(平和医療団・日本）のアフガニスタンでの医療活動や灌漑水利事業等を支援している団体です。 登壇予定者のうち3名は、2005年～2008年ごろ、ペシャワール会が支援するPMSのワーカーとしてにアフガニスタンで用水路建設や経理事務などに従事されていました。帰国後はそれぞれ、絵本やさんを開業されたり学習会の講師活動をされたり、全く異なるお仕事に従事しつつ、震災後に福島の子供たちを関西にまねく団体を設立したり、子育て施設や児童の発達支援などの社会的な活動にも取り組まれています。講演会は、アフガニスタンにおける今の活動が聞けるほか、こうしたペシャワール会卒業生より日本での多彩な活躍を直接伺える構成にもなっており、楽しみです。弓削からは遠いですが、関西圏の方はぜひ。 We share the information about the lecture. 我が家の畑で、橙を、今年もたくさん収穫しました。自家製ポン酢などつくってみませんか？弓削鎌田の自宅へ直接お寄りいただくか、FacebookやLINEなど繋がりのある方へ着払いで送ります。ご希望の方はご連絡ください！ 自宅にいらした方、その場でプレス機でジュースにしてお持ち帰り頂くこともできますよ。毎年橙ポン酢を作る生名の濱田さんに聞いたコツは、「プレスのとき苦みがでないよう、切り口周囲の皮をぐるっと剥いておく」のだそうです。なるほど～。先日も友人と話しながら絞っていたら、ボトル一本分すぐにできました。 4箱ぐらいあります。そのうち販売体制など整えたいですが、まずは第一歩、sharingから。ご連絡お待ちしてます～。 We harvested a lot of bitter oranges.
