モッツランドでオリーブの手入れ Olive maintenance in Mots Land

桜、白梅、紅梅。春の佐島の山道を走るのは楽しくて、すぐにモツランドに着きました。丘の上にある入り口からは海が見渡せます。果樹園エリアには20本以上のオリーブの木があります。2ヶ月に3回、敵が穴を開けて木を枯らすのを防ぐために、茎に薬剤を塗る必要があります。一本一本剪定をしながら作業を進めました。どの木にも穴が開いていなかったので、安心しました。

果樹園の山手には、Motsさんが今年植えた桃が満開、ふもとの方にあるプラムも花盛りでした。太陽光エネルギーを使って電動草刈機で 、海辺の平地の草を刈ったり、小さな家の緩んだ雨樋を修理したりしました。

今年もプラムやオリーブ、イチジクなどの果実がたくさん収穫できたらと思います。

Cherry blossom, white plum, and red plum. It is fun to drive along mountain road in Sahima in Spring and I arrived in Mots Land soon. The entrance on the hill overlooks the ocean. I proceeded with the work, pruning each tree one by one. There were no holes in any trees, so I was releaved.

On the mountain side of the orchard, peaches planted by Mots this year were in full bloom, and plums at the foot of the orchard were also in full bloom. I used solar energy to cut weeds on the flat area by the beach with a electric grass cutter and repaired a losen gutter on a tiny house.

We hope to harvest many plums, olives figs and other fruits this year.
