In winter every year, we go out and pick delicious wakame at the beach in front of our house in early morning at spring tide even if it is cold.
Pick wakame from the root, separate it into three parts with knife; leaf like part, stem like part and root like part. Boil each part in short time, pick and add it into cold water, drain it, cut and store a small portion of it in freeze. Each local people has each way of storing wakame. I picked a lot of wakame, so it took much time for the preparation.
I brought some of them to my business associates who live in Kobe. Most girls like wakame very much.
