New chicken coop, but moving is a bit difficult
The old chicken coop have had some problems.
Roof is leaking, the food are stolen by sparrows entering through the cracks and the biggest problem is that eggs are stolen or broken by crow entering through the cracks.
Further, since they all like the same room, the chickens lay their eggs in a folded pattern in that area though I prepared many rooms for laying an egg.
I finally decided to build new chicken coop. I asked my father, who came to Yuge, to paint it for me. It took longer than usual to produce the building, probably because I tried to reuse materials as much as possible.
The construction was done, so I held two birds at a time and pushed total 13 of them into their new home at the night. I did the same for two nights, and on the third day, they started to return to their new home. Some of them decide to stay in the field instead of returning to their new home, as if the space is smaller than before and they don’t have a place to stay.
Probably I should repair the old chicken coop and put 13 senior chickens back in it and new chicken coop should be provided to 6 young chicks. Chicken owners’ problems are endless
