My parents' Yuge 両親の弓削

My father cleaned a grassy ground in front of our house with electric grass cutter and hand, pulled and brought back old columns in Fujitani where I used to use for Goat farm, fixed two broken doors in now Goat farm and enjoy fishing with his friends in Mukaijima and Yuge. Sand borer, corkwing wrasse, and small sea breams during day, sea eels at night. I was surprised that he got some fish not much but every day in front of our house. Sea breams are got from other fisherman who lives in Sashima.

My mother left Yuge, went to Oita, helped her brother plant rice there, came back to Yuge and planted various plants she brought from Gifu in our messed up garden.

Fortunately, they make it to harvest lots of plum in Sashima. They became good souvenirs.
I gifted Fespa stay plan to my parents for mother's day and father's day on the last day. My parents told me that they were satisfied with nice dinner I also had together and Japanese breakfast next morning. Our neighbor said to my parents "you loos happy!" when they came home. They seemed to be relaxed. It was good.

My sister's family plan to come to Yuge on four-days holiday in July. Summer is coming!

父は、家の前の草に覆われた地面を電気草刈り機や手できれいにしてくれ、以前ヤギを置いていた藤谷に置きっぱなしだった柱を抜いて持ち帰り、今のヤギ牧場の壊れた２つのドアを修理しつつ、向島と弓削にいる父の友人たちと魚釣りを楽しみました。日中はキス、ギザミ(ベラ)、小鯛、夜はアナゴ狙い。家の前から、たくさんではないけど毎日何かしら釣れていたのには驚きました。今回、父は、初めて魚のうろこ取り、内臓とりも経験しました。大きい鯛は、佐島の魚釣り名人が釣り上げ、向島の友人経由で頂いたものです。

母は、弓削に到着した翌日に大分へ向かい、お兄さんの田植えと祖母の介護を手伝ってから、弓削に戻り、岐阜から持ち込んだ様々な野菜の苗を、うちの荒れ放題の畑に植えてくれました。

幸い、佐島のすももの収穫に間に合った両親は、よいお土産ができました。
最終日は、母の日と父の日をかねて、両親をフェスパ宿泊プランへご招待。一緒にとった夕食は豪華、和朝食も、両親はとても美味しかったと喜んでくれました。ホテルから戻った両親を見かけたご近所さんが、ご機嫌ね、と声をかけるほど、リラックスできたようでよかったです。

7月の4連休には妹家族が弓削に来る予定です。夏がやってきます。
