Beach house 海の家
Weekend: Apr 4 and 5, 2020
I visited Ikinajima where a person having self-build pizza oven lives. Our pizza oven is not efficient, so we wanted to learn his tips. He uses charcoal because the oven turns black if woods are used and the heat is not stable. He supervised and his daughter made the pizza oven according to DIY book. It was amazing! We found many cute decoration at the wall of foundation.
After pizza party there, we went to Sashima to cut grasses and some work for “beach house”.
The construction started as a tiny house, but now it is not tiny any more. So we call it “beach house” now. To tell the truth, Mots san and Hamid who stayed here for three weeks on March built real tiny house. Hamid is interested in building tiny house from the first, so he extended the staying date twice and helped to almost complete a tiny house. I will upload the picture soon. Mots san focused on building these house to make something valuable for future. He thinks to use these house as a hostel for such as bicycle travelers and karaoke house. No one claims you even if you shout as far as possible! Please come here to enjoy these houses if they are completed!
Today, Mots san works for installing solar panel on the roof of beach house. He asked me to go together in case he drops. At first, I watched him but I started to cut grass in the wheat garden. I can hear sound if he drops. Fortunately, he finished his work without injury.
We got a glance at blooming cherry blossom in our garden, and continued to work. He is interested in his beach house more, and I am interested in growing wheat more than cherry blossom. We should enjoy cherry blossom with our friends someday.

生名島へ、自前のピザ窯を持つ方を訪ねました。私たちのピザ窯は大きすぎて効率が悪いので、彼のコツを学びたいと思っていました。彼は、薪だとピザ窯が真っ黒になり、温度も不安定だということで、炭を使っています。彼の監督の下、娘さんが本に従ってこのピザ窯を作成したとのこと、素晴らしい！土台の壁にトンボやちょうちょの形にタイルを配置して、とてもキュートでした。
ピザパーティーの後、佐島へ行き、草を刈ったり、海の家の仕事をしたりしました。
最初は「小さい家（タイニーハウス）」として工事を始めたのだけど、今やもう小さくなくなってしまったので、「海の家」に改名。実は、モッツさんは、3月に3週間滞在していたイラン人のハミッド（東京で６年ほど外資系企業の仕事をしている）が、本当のタイニーハウスを建築していたのでした。ハミッドはもともとタイニーハウスにとても興味があり、なんとしても作りたいと大工さんを急かすぐらいの勢いで朝から晩まで佐島で働き、滞在期間を2度延長しながら、ついに０からほとんど立ち上げてしまいました。またそのうち写真を掲載したいと思います。モッツさんは、未来に向けてなにか価値のあるものを残したいとの思いで、これらの建物の制作に集中しています。彼はこの建物を、サイクリストなどの簡易宿泊所として提供したり、カラオケルームとして利用したりすることを考えています。どれだけ大声で叫んでも、だれも文句言いませんから！完成したらみなさんぜひ遊びに来てください！
今日はモッツさんが海の家の屋根にソーラーパネルを設置する工事をしていて、落ちた時のために私についてきてほしいと言われていました。最初、彼の様子を見ていましたが、彼が落ちたら音でわかるだろうと思って、近くの麦畑で雑草を抜き始めました。幸運にも彼は無傷で屋根の作業を終えました。めでたしめでたし。
私たちの畑にあるさくらんぼの木がきれいな桜を咲かせていましたが、私たちはそれを一瞥してもっと興味のあること、モッツさんは海の家の仕事を、私は麦畑のメンテナンスを続けました。いつか友人たちとお花見を楽しみたいと思います。
