I asked Kiyoko san to give me lots of hot pepper. I often cough while removing seeds. It reminds me that Karen, Mots san’s sister removed seeds of hot pepper carefully and made well dried hot peppers two years ago. They were very useful. This time, some of them were dried to make hot pepper powder and some of them were immersed in salt water for three days, strained and mixed with citrus juice to make citrus tabasco.
Thank you, Kato san! He gave me many strong boxes. They are suitable for kids to play with. Brown one steped on it.
Mie san introduced Yasuko san to me. I got a first friend in Ikina. Yasuko san took us to pick flowers of double cherry blossom by car. While driving, she taught us how to make salted flower and enjoyed talking. She was interested in Locavore and have tried to grow and make various things. Her garden impressed us. The garden is not so big but several kind of vegetables and fruit trees are organized and growing well. I thought we should follow her way, even partly spefically in our farm of Sashima where we try to grow fruit tree mainly. She said she always choose way with less labor. Gardening with less labor is better if you want to grow many things. I completely agree with her.
When I went home, flowers of double cherry blossom were washed, wiped, cut branches and salted.
