Wood craft trial 木工体験
- Mika san and I tried wood craft all day. Nakayama san kindly tought us how to make wood tray by lathe. In fact, most of steps were done by him, but we learned a structure of tray and how to use lathe. We had nice time and got a nice tray of pine tree. I got a pike of wood chip for use in kids flooring.
- Just after finishing wood craft, Kato san called and invited me opening party of “Engawa” which is community site for local people near post office. Fortunately, I could meet meet possible goat owner and Miyawaki san, Mayer there. I timely got appointment to meet his cows.
- Thanks to goats, I got lots of broccoli. My friend’s brother gave our goats the outer leaves and they had lots of baby broccoli. I separated each of them, boiled and stored in freezer.
- 今日は一日、みかさんと一緒に木工体験をしました。中山さんが丁寧に旋盤を使ったお盆の作り方を教えてくれました。実際は、ほとんどの工程をやってもらったのですが、お盆の構造や旋盤の使い方を学びました。良い時間を過ごし、美しい松のお盆を手に入れました。山盛りの木くずを、子やぎたちの床敷用にもらいました。
- 木工が終わった直後、加藤さんが、地元の人の交流場所である「ENGAWA」のオープニングイベントへのお誘いの電話をくれました。幸運にも、山羊の里親の可能性のある方と、町長の宮脇さんに会うことができました。タイミングよく、宮脇さんの牛に会う予約をすることができました。
- 山羊のおかげで、たくさんのブロッコリーを手に入れました。友人の弟さんが山羊用にブロッコリーの外葉を分けてくれ、その外葉にたくさんの小さいブロッコリーがついていました。それぞれ取り外し、茹でて、冷凍庫に保存しました。
