Develop South Sashima on every Saturday! 毎週土曜日,南佐島を開拓しよう！

• This activity started on last week, Feb 11, 2017 by five people. One more person joined today. Two more people will join next week.
• We would like to develop south sashima as a farmland with something fun such as BBQ, camping site, Zipline, tree house etc. If you are interested in some of them, please come to our farm in south sashima (near nagaiso area) on Saturday 2-5pm!

Now we are preparing area for planting fruits tree and open small garden space.
We parepared fruits tree area by;

1. Cutting big trees with chainsaw
2. Dividing them into branches and stems
3. Having them cut short for use in firewood; branches for BBQ and stem for wood stove
4. Tilling the fruits tree planting area by electric tiller

We opened garden space by;

1. Removing weeds inside area of electric fence
2. Plowing the ground over harvesting potatoes which I planted on autumn and forgot to take care of them.
3. Planting potatoes in this season.

• この活動は、2017年2月11日に5人で始まりました。今日は一人増え、来週は二人増える予定です。
• 私たちは、南佐島を何か楽しいものがある農地として開発したいと思っています。たとえば、BBQ、キャンプサイト、ジップライン、ツリーハウスなど。。興味がある方は、土曜日午後2-5時に南佐島（長磯近く）の畑へいらしてください！

今は、果樹を植える場所の準備と、小さい畑スペースを作っています。
果樹エリアはこのように準備しました；

1. チェーンソーを使って、大きな木を切ります
2. 枝と幹を切り分けます
3. 枝と幹を、薪用に短く切ります。枝はバーベキュー用、幹は薪ストーブ用です
4. 電気耕運機を使って、果樹を植える場所を耕します

畑スペースはこのように作りました；

1. 電気柵内の雑草を抜きます
2. 秋に植えて忘れてたジャガイモを収穫しつつ、鋤で耕します
3. この時期のジャガイモを植えます
